12-Witness - They turned off our service

We missed the telephone call from DirecTV, but I was in our home with my husband Bill [Willard L. Hardin] when he played back the recorded message on the same day telling us that our trial period for the Total Choice package was over and we must call in if we wanted to be taken off the Total Choice.  When I heard it I told him that he better call DirecTV right away, and he did.  He called right then.

I didn’t pay too much attention to him talking on the phone, but when he hung up he told me that he stopped the Total Choice and got the monthly bill down from the $36 per month that we were paying.  I don’t remember exactly what he said at the time, but he says now that it was $27 per month.  It sure wasn’t $50 per month like they were trying to charge us.

A couple of hours after the phone call I turned on the TV and I noticed that the movie channels were still working.  I asked Bill about this, and he said that it would take them awhile to turn off the channels.  I can’t remember exactly, but it was either later the same day after we went out for awhile, or the next day, that the movie channels stopped working.

I don’t know why DirecTV says they have no record of us changing our programming, but they stopped the Total Choice programming in such a short time.
